A young guy named Jesper is accustomed to a luxurious and carefree life, he doesn't work anywhere and loves spending money from his wealthy father. All the guy’s beginnings ended unsuccessfully, because he knows that making money is hard, and the father can always provide his son with financial freedom. Jesper’s father puts an ultimatum to the guy: he must go to a small village beyond the Arctic Circle, find a job and send more than six thousand letters, otherwise, he'll no longer receive money from his father.

Jesper goes on his trip, meets with locals who are divided into two warring groups and don't want to send letters.
